Questions

How is ROAS worked out?

ROAS (return on ad spend) is the sales your ads brought in divided by what the ads cost. Spend 100 and make 300 in sales and your ROAS is 3.

How do I find my break-even ROAS?

Divide 1 by your margin before ads. With a 40% margin, break-even ROAS is 1 / 0.40 = 2.5. Every ROAS above 2.5 is profit.

My ROAS is below break-even. What should I change first?

Usually the ad creative or angle, then the landing page (headline, main photo, price). An A/B test on one change at a time shows what helps.
